ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Northwest Health Services Inc. in St. Joseph is getting some grant funding.
The not-for-profit is getting $250,000 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services because they were one of the facilities impacted by severe weather last year.
Overall, the DHHS is handing out nearly $6 million in grant funding to 13 Missouri health centers. The grant funding comes from the Capital Assistance for Disaster Response and Recovery Efforts.
